No-one seems to be able to;

1) take a joke

2) laugh at themselves if they do something stupid

3) talk about s*x without becoming serious, defencive or quiet.

  1. Oddly enough I do have a sense of humour, it is the gits round me that can't stand my cheek.

    I like jokes on myself

I laugh at myself (a friend once said "Charles to act so stupid you have your brilliant moments.")

s*x--Graduate studies at uni has me so busy I remember I liked doing it at one time. Now I hardly care.

  2. I really don't mean to be derogatory but, no obviously everyone has not lost their sense of humour, how many people have you obsurved to make such a judgement?

sometimes you have to judge what kind of person your talking to when you are making a joke, sometimes people don't like offensive jokes, or sarcastic jokes, maybe some people don't like being made fun of.

I get the feeling you are one of those people who joke around about other people then when it happens to you, you cry and complain.

  3. We live in a litigious society, where everyone is afraid of appearing "politically incorrect". I think people are afraid. Just plain afraid sometimes because people who get easily offended are just intolerant of others and can make your life unpleasant.

It is great to have friend and coworkers who get your humor.

  4. What good is a sense of humour? We're all doomed.

    Doooooooooooomed!!!

  5. not me ;)

  6. The one sure sign of a classic bully is the one who immediately whines "why can't no one take a joke?" when they are called on doing something that is disguised as a joke, but in reality is just a display of sexism, racism, homophobia or just plain meanspiritedness.  The interesting thing here:  bullies can usually dish it out, but they usually can't take it when the tables are turned.

Also, sexual jokes, especially on the job is only another form of boorish, bullying behavior and it is never appropriate, and may net you with a charge of sexual harrassment.

There are many of us who do have a good sense of humor, but we also have an even better sense of what is tasteful and what is not.  Everyone has a different sense of humor, there's not just one type of humor...and what one person may thinks is funny, some one else may not.

  7. we joke all the time at home,I'm always doing stupid things and getting laughed at ,then laugh myself,,at work we get the work done,,but always find time for a laugh and a joke,,makes the day at work loads better,,you must be around the wrong sort of ppl for yourself!! tell them all to lighten up and have a laugh,,good luck.

  8. Well I still have my sense of humor. But I don't find people who are just plain offensive, boorish, and think themselves funnier than they really are to be amusing. And I generally don't find it amusing to hear people use profanities, except when a 3 year old does it innocently.

  9. well not everyyyyyone.........i havent!!! haha but maybe i just stole some other peoples.

  10. Hey, you should come and work in our office, we do all 3 all day. I'm surprised we get any work done.
