Has fancy feast cat food been recalled recently?

I purchased fancy feast cat food at petco in Irvine, Calif and both of my cts got very sick and had to have them treated by the vet

I have not seen Fancy Feast on the recall list but recently there was a big complaint about the "Flaked Fish & Shrimp Feast" flavor causing choking in cats due to many small and large bones in the food.

Did the vet suspect tainted food?  If so, the vet should contact the company on your behalf and you should be prepared to have any remaining cans you have of the same kind tested.

There have been no recalls but that doesn't mean there wasn't something such as bacterial contamination in a single lot.
