First off, like Pens said, there's nothing to fix. All this man-made global warming c**p is a big scare tactic. There's no point in arguing that though, in time the truth will come out.

Second, even if it was man made, what are we here in the U.S. supposed to do about it? Sacrifice our economy in a total overhaul to "save the planet" when India and China have stated that they don't plan on doing anything? Anything we would do would just be a moot point, and a "feel good" gesture. Stop worrying about a 1 degree change in 50 years and start focusing on real issues facing this country and the world. How about we stop clubbing baby seals up in Canada, stop deforestation in the Amazon, deal with the real crisis in Darfur, terrorism, third world countries with nuclear ambitions, unchecked illegal immigration, I could go on and on.

I'm skeptical that CO2 is the culprit of the warming trend we experienced in our lifetimes. So the reasons I do things like turning off a light when I'm not in a room, buying reusable grocery bags, and other small energy conserving ideas, is more for saving money and making a statement on what I think we should save (Trees) than it is about worrying over something I feel we can't control.

Yes i want to make serious changes. One day when i can purchase land i will have a environmentally friendly home, have several water tanks, have fruit trees and grow veggies. Have my own production system of electricity etc. Its a serious problem and will affect everyone.

Your question assumes that their some thing that we mere fleas on a dogs back can do about our enviroment on a global scale. Global warming cooling climate change is just that, the earth is part of a solar systems that is ever changing. So unless you have come up with a way to change the entire universe, then I would say that anything you do is really a emotinal affect rather than a pysical affect on your envorment. IT will make you feel good but ultimaltey you cant do any thing to change waht is happeing.

The global warming hype has made me think about the lengths to which some people and groups will go to force others to change their lifestyles.

Al Gore telling you what kind of lightbulb you'll be allowed to use, or what kind of car you'll be allowed to drive, and how far and how often, is no different from Pat Robertson telling you with whom you're allowed to have s*x, or to whom you'll be allowed to get married.

AGW as it is called is nothing but a well-funded advertising scam designed to get larger profits for the oil companies to allow them to buy into other industries before oil runs out. Now I have reduced my personal energy usage to a level very few do and I am looking a finding ways to reduce this even more. What I am doing is reducing my own personal living expenses because when I saw the beginning parts of this AGW scam more than 20 years ago I realized what it was going to do to the cost of living.

I was well trained by my ancestors in spotting and avoiding paying for this stuff but when a bunch of born suckers fall for the scam then it causes general inflation for everybody. Those who bought into this instead of telling the promoters to back off are why the cost of living of the world is going up. So when you see people saying that AGW is real and we all need to do the right thing you will recognize these people are responsible for the amount of money missing from your wallet every week to buy those little extras you can no longer afford. I can afford them still but just not as often or many because I started preparing for this at the beginning of the scam, not when it was already in full flight.

Lets face it, those whom say "lets fix global warming" tend to cause it them selfs.

Its impossible to make global warming "stop", but we can slow down the procedure by not using as much fossil fuels.

We use products every day that will effect our world, including plastic bags and bottles, and many other things!

I do try to change what I do but there needs to be incentives form the government to promote energy saving methods, its summer here at the moment and I wouldn't mind if it was a bit warmer, it's cold at the moment.
