Sure, globalization has improved communication because of the need for instant comms all over the globe at all hours of the day and night.  The benefits aren't evenly spread because of both censorship as well as lack of products/services.  In areas of a lot of censorship, the communication isn't as free and open as it is in other markets.  If a country doesn't have either the natural resources or the ability to provide services or manufacturing, then there isn't as much demand for inclusion in the global communications plan.

    Prejudices will remain forever - though it is harder to remain "true" to prejudice when you may be talking to "one of THOSE" on the other end of the phone/internet connection.

    Who wins?  Well, those that are connected, or those that are closely connected to those that ARE closely connected.  If you are connected, you can make alliances faster and get that choice contract before another company/country.  If you aren't part of the loop, you will always be playing catch up in a market that isn't very conducive to being continually in second place.
