If he has, probably not very many.  Look at how he expresses himself when not on the prompter, it's never pretty.  Bill Clinton was excellent off the teleprompter, but McCain and Obama seem to put their foot in their mouths a lot.  Looks like it will be 4-8 more years of stupid statements no matter who we vote for.

Hmmm, you don't really know if he's written any of them or not, so how can you ask if he has or if he hasn't? This question is clearly an inference that he hasn't. Anyways, most of the American people really don't have any access to this type of information, and more than likely this will just end up in hate rhetoric/false statements.

To answer the question: You can bet that he plays a large part in the speeches that he puts forth. And anytime that you see him doing press conferences, he is pressed to speak from the mind and the heart. As to one of the previous answers ... why waste space with diatribe such as "he can't read, how can he write?" That's just childish non-sense.

While I understand a lot of people don't agree with President Bush, that type of statement does nothing but prove your ignorance. Put forth some effort or some hard fact as to why you think he doesn't write any of his speeches.

Personally, I don't really know what's involved in the Presidential speech writing process (I'm sure he takes a lot of council from his advisors) but I'm also sure he makes certain that what goes down on that paper comes from his heart, and it isn't something that would compromise his core beliefs.

While he may not have always been right in his decisions, I think he's one of the few Presidents who has stuck to his guns throughout the past eight years, and has over-all done a good job. And I think his speeches have been just fine.

No. But neither did Clinton. The guy who wrote the screenplay for Pleasantville wrote all of Clinton's. Gawd, the media really cherry-picks when they want to make republicans look bad, and sweeps everything the democratic party does under the rug whenever convenient.
