  1. I really suggest you do more researching on Hyosung motorcycles than here on Answers.  I've read alot of stories of people receiving their bikes that are missing parts.  They are a very unproven company and there aren't many dealerships around, either.  Will make any issues you have with the bike more difficult.  I suggest getting a proven bike like Kawasaki, Honda, Yamaha or Suzuki.   If you like the GT650R by Hyosung, check out the Ninja 650R.

  2. Get the brand name motorcycle.  It may look like the Suzuki SV650 but would have have time getting service or parts for it in the long run.  The retail sale would be better too, because Suzuki been on the market for a very long time and Hyosung, who?

  3. They had their  problems in the past but they are corrected and a Hyosung can hold its own against any thing that is out there. I have been around a lot of them and  find them to be excellent motorcycles. Try looking  up www.prideinwhatyouride.com there are a lot of owners there and they have been riding them for awhile. Also a lot of the problems that were blamed on Hyosung were   really UM which sold them under their name for awhile and did not stand behind them they are bankrupt now. UM not Hyosung. and Hyosung use to build motors for Suzuki's. As I read over some of the other answers some have no idea what they are telling you

  4. not a bad looking bike...from about 50 yards that is...if u buy one you will be sorry...look for a used cbr600 or any well known makes keep away from  the ''cheepys''.

  5. I have teh V2C 650s (United Motors) and ride it 100 miles a day, 5 days a week.

    I have no complaints

The GT is the sport bike version, not much difference.

You can find the Hyosung forums and talk to other GT owners.

BTW United Motors is the USA division of Hyosung (hugh song) Of Korea, who has been making bikes from 1970.
