Has gymnastics lost its artistry?

A lot of these routines are jammed with so many skills in order to get the highest start value that in my opinion I think some of the originality and artistry is going away. Does anyone else agree?

No. I thought the girls were fantastic this year. Especially Shawn Johnson, even though Nastia beat her out for the all around. Both girls were beauty in motion and there was no lack of artistry.
