Last I checked, the sportster is still 40 horsepower.  But as we have learned here, horsepower is bad.

They have not yet added a bunch of cheesy plastic parts and stickers.  They still use steel, chrome, and paint.  So I guess aren't to your cheesy standards yet.

No one's "caught up" to this century (21st) for very obvious reasons.

There are many roads to ride and many ways to ride them.

At least you got question points for asking this and I get answer points for these words. (3 minutes not riding though!) There's the real waste.

What bike?- Good, Bad, Cheap, Expensive? It's a big "who cares" in the sky unless you haven't got one or sit on one for the pictures.

As opposed to Japanese cruisers?  Last I checked, my dad's Harley is fuel injected and his Honda Shadow is still carbureted.  My bike (home built chopper) uses very old technology (evolution engine, open belt, rigid frame) and it out-performs both of them.
