Has it all gone too far the other way?

We live in a country where young offenders get away with murder, no respect is given to older people, the lazy claim multiple benefits and think they have a right to them, everything has become too politically correct, the silent majority no longer have a voice don't you think?

If you have a radical view on change often you are accused of being a facist, isn't it about time something was done in the UK!

Until I got to the last sentence, I thought you were talking about the United States.  Seems our problems with our youth is the same!  When did the kids take over?  How did we let it happen?  Here, in the U.S., we tried to give them "everything we didn't have", gave them too many chances to make decisions, and  allowed too much freedom.   Some, of course, still respect their elders, but generally the generations have been in a decline for many years.  It's up to parents to  turn the tide first.  No one else can begin the process!

You might be right.  But you should understand that you cannot control other people.  You can and should control yourself.  Live the standards you desire to see in others or better.  You can choose to have peace without regard to your environment.  One said, "Stone walls and iron bars do not a prison make".  Do not put yourself in a self created prison.  Be free and live.

Sounds like the USA too.  We have now lost three generations with the one we have now going s*x and music crazy.  Most of their parents are young and just as bad.  I blame movies and TV for this as there is no censorship.

We need change, but who is going to do the changing.
