  1. yes

  2. * There is no "scientific consensus" on global warming

    * Climate is always changing – with or without man

    * The Medieval Warm Period was significantly warmer than temperatures today – and was a golden age for agriculture, innovation, and lifespan

    * Most of Antarctica is actually getting colder

    * Hurricanes are not getting worse – our tendency to build houses in their path is getting greater

    * Many big businesses lobby for global warming policies that will increase their profits – and our costs

    * The media only recently abandoned the "global cooling" scare

    * The real agenda behind the "global warming" scare? A massive expansion of government control over the economy and our lives

  3. No, it is just speculation.

Burning petroleum creates CO2, but CO2 lags temperature change, it does not cause it. The Earth has also been in a cooling phase the last few years. This is why some politicians have started calling "Global Warming" "Climate Change".

This is an example of changing the facts to fit the theory.

    =(

It would be nice if global warming was real. It would benefit mankind greatly. More drinkable water and an abundance of food is a great thing. Milder winters are also a plus.

  4. no not really because if it was 100% sure then people would stop debating over global warming

  5. As CO2 has a higher emissivity than oxygen and particle polution contributes to global dimming, I don't think it's been proven that the effect of fossil fuels is even a net warming.

  6. No, use of any fossil fuels has not, nor ever could cause any global impact on earth's climate one way or another.

In fact, increased CO2 levels in the atmosphere is not a cause of global warming trends, but an effect which occurs as temperatures increase over long periods of time.

The general public's opinions are easily swayed, due to there lack of scientific understanding, media exposure given to false and hyped up stories because it is more spectacular than the truth, and because they want to believe in the worse.

If there wasn't so much money to be made by those whose sole intention is to 'rip us off’; this type of question would never have to be asked.

I believe that most people have been so fed up with being ripped off by all big business for so long, especially the oil companies, that they are more than willing to let someone else rip them off even greater.

It is way past time to bring this lunatic behaviour to an end.

Let proper science speak and be heard for a change, and let us stop wasting all of our time, money, and resources on a myth, which has absolutely no beneficial effects and only massive detrimental ones for the entire human population.

  7. I think what Ben O mentions is something that a lot of people don't hear. We don't even know the sign of anthropogenic forcings for certain. Though it is far more likely that the sign is positive, there has been no conclusive evidence that tells us that.

    Funny, eh?

  8. As we all know that burning of petroleum emits CO2 which is having global warming potetial. but if we use very good technology through which there is less emissions even we use petrol then, it would definitely reduce its global warming impact.

emission doesnt completely depend on fuel which we are using, but emission is depending on extent of technology which we are using.

  9. It has been modeled very accurately and the majority of experts in the field are saying that it is certain, that said cars have an overstated effect on the environment. Assuming that you replace any used calories by eating steak you will emit more greenhouse gasses (from the production, transport etc. of the steak) by walking than by driving. The biggest thing that we can do to help stop or slow global warming is to alter our power consumption and to put pressure on governments.

  10. No that has not been proven. I think you need to go back to your science teachers and talk to them about what needs to happen to prove a theory. And we aren't anywhere close to even proving man has anything to do with changing the climate one way or another. What is 100% proven is mans effects on his enviroment. By environment I mean the space man occupies on the planet. Examples of how we effect our environment are air quality, water quality and throwing garbage onto the sides of our roadways. Landfills are also a big problem if we think we can throw anything in them that we want to. What we need to do is get companies to make biodegradable packaging for there products. And make sure we recycle anything that we created that doesn't turn back into it's natural element.

  11. no no no no no no and no  AL gores hot air has done more for global warming than oil
