Has it ever rained in the North or South pole?

i was wondering if the north pole or anartica and places like these have ever had rain before???

  3. The south pole - never in 'recent' history, although yes when the world was in a very warm interglacial period.

    After temperature records began, the highest temperature ever recorded at the S. Pole was -14 C (about 6 degrees F). That's far too cold for rain. Coastal Antarctica does get rain in the summer months of November to February. Average summer temperatures on the coast average between 30 and 40 degrees F.

    Keep in mind that the North Pole summer averages around 25-30 degrees F, whereas the South Pole summer averages around minus 10 to minus 15 degrees F. A huge difference!
