Has it snowed in Dunedin yet?

It snowed last night in Warrington, so I imagine there's snow over the motorway into Dunedin, too.  It's melted, because it's been raining all day, but it's certainly cold enough to do it again.

Funny you mentioned that - I got an email from a mate there this morning - he said

" is now snowing here after the warmest month of May in over 140 years..it is now snowing down to sea level; for those of you who think is looks pretty, well it is pretty ( d**n cold). "

Yup, its been snowing in Dunedin for years. I imagine it will contnue to snow there for a long time to come?
