Question:

Has life started to wear you down or out?

Once the sparkle of youth and delight at the wonder of it all fades we're left with the realities of the nonsense of our society and all the hypocrisy weaved into it.

Isn't the question answered by our desire to free ourselves from the "rat race"...which pretty well describes our society.

  1. It had for a while.  I have decided to go back to school and start a new career.  I love the idea of starting something new.  You just have find something to feel passionate about.

  2. Yes, but rediscovering the Bible and the wonderful news it tells has revitalized my life energy! God bless us all.

BUT, if I'm over the hill (55), why am I not coasting?????

  3. if you mean life as in school....then YES!! life is getting suckier everyday.  global warming will never end...crime rates will keep increasing....taxes and gas prices will continue to iincrease due to all the idiots sitting on death row.  but no one can get away from it because it's reality and it sucks

  4. That's when you go get yourself a hobby. Learning something new and getting good at it is exciting.

  5. I think I was born stressed! So much pressure in our lives these days; everyone thinks they know everything and what to do when really, no one knows EVERYTHING and no one is PERFECT! Yet, there's always someone telling you what to do or something you just should do because its what your society is based upon. It's rather sick and aggravating. xx

  6. Yes, life has indeed started to wear me down.

I used to wake up every morning with a smile on my face and couldnt wait to get my day started.

Now, I am almost 30 years old, have some health issues which have stopped me going to work for the last 3 months. I now wake up every morning, depressed and wishing it all would go away.

The biggest frustration is that I really do want to enjoy life, but it has all turned to sh** right now.

  7. it has. i am only 21 but somehow i feel older, but not necessarily savvier. i work a full time job because i wanted some financial independence. i am also in my 2nd year in university, i always get involved in side projects with teachers, help colleagues in school and at work... yet i don't find the same understanding and will to help when i am in need especially when there's something important involved. it's much easier to smile and shrug your shoulders than to offer real support.
