  1. Apparently he doesn't, the guy knows how to defend himself and that's his game you know, he don't risk too much, he fight with a good distance of his opponent and strikes back, but he do it well, is a guy who is really really hard to beat up, and the strange thing is that he's not a boring fighter, the guy can punch and make really good combinations, he's a really good fighter but he's definitely not of my favorites.

  2. We will soon find out! With the loss to Griffin, expect to see Jackson vs. Wanderlei Silva in December(ish), and after Liddell CRUSHES Rashad Evans in September, I think he'll need a fight in December as well, because he can't get a title shot before Jackson does, unless Jackson loses to Silva. I think you'll see Machida vs. Liddell in a Texas Two-Step match (Machida constantly backing up, while Chuck waits for him to engage so he can counter-punch. zzzzzzzzzzz......

  3. not that I know of.

Oh, and to the guy who says Machida has never fought anyone, he KO'ed Rich Franklin and beat BJ Penn.

  4. Has he ever fought anyone? I'm not hating on the guy, I'm just saying that the only person of note he has fought is Tito Ortiz, and how much did Tito really care about that fight? He has not finished many people (only Sokoudjou), his record has a lot of decisions on it, kinda reminds one of Tim Sylvia's record. I think he should fight Wanderlei next, if he wants to prove he is championship material.

  5. He's caught some shots, but I don't think he's really been hurt (he caught a few shots in the Franklin fight).  It's more of his style as a karate fighter, he goes in and out with strikes and counterstrikes.  He's definitely more of a defensive fighter and counterstriker and most people in MMA don't necessarily like that style.  Lyoto is hands down my favorite fighter, and he is the NICEST guy outside the Octagon.  I would like to see him become champion in the 205 division-although with Anderson Silva now being in the mix, it will be tough for anyone-and of course as we all seen, Forrest is no slouch either.

  6. probably not,its kinda hard to get hurt when you dont stay in long enough to get hit.he gets in and out before anyone can hit him.

  7. i dont think so, he is an interesting fighter. on one hand it feels like hes running away throughout the fight and u get mad cuz it seems like he didnt come to fight but when u take a 2nd look he is just fighting smart and hurting his opponent, avoiding any damage and setting himself up for another decision victory. he is even capable of catching an opponent coming in getting frustrated and ending the fight. i just wish tito woulda held onto that triangle in the last fight and not attempted to make it into an armbar, he coulda won his last ufc fight in style
