  1. Folks, Mayweather may already be the best fighter ever. He's beaten every man he's faced including men of heavier weight classes. There is nothing else he can do to prove himself worthy.

  2. I wouldnt say he has yet but he is well on the way to being an all time great, if he would just take the fights that the public want to see over the next few years then he will be right up there in the all time ratings. If he continues to fight against fighters who are much smaller than him or that are getting on in age then no one will be fooled by his record, he has to take on the likes of Cotto, Margarito, Williams and Cintron, i would say he probably has the beating of all of these fighters but if he doesnt start taking the fights against the young hungry fighters and instead keeps going after big paychecks against old timers then when is all said and done with Floyds career it will look like he has padded his record out.

  3. Not yet, he needs to beat a few more elite fighters before he belongs in the "best of all time category."

  4. I hope not I hate this guy I can't wait to see him get KO'd

  5. I don't think he's there just yet. In the 21st century he's got to be in the discussion, but all time???? Not quite yet. I personally had DeLahoya winning 115-113 in their 1st fight (oscoring was 115-113 Oscar, 115-133 Flloyd, and the last judge had it 115-113 Mayweather. However he was the only judge to give Mayweather the 12th rd. The other judges and myself had it for Oscar. Had it gone the other way the score would have been 114-114 and a draw.) It was a d**n close fight and I would have been ok with a draw, but I just didn't feel ike Oscar lost that fight (and I'm not really a fan of him so it's not bias). If Mayweather beats a few more of the elite fighters (Margarito, Mosely, to name a few) I think you can make a very good arguement for him.

If you were to argue Mayweather Vs. Leonard it would be a tough arguement either way. That said, he's unbeaten (on paper anyway), he's fought some very good fighters, and is as skilled as anyone in boxing today.

Bottom line is it's a bit early, but it's a fair arguement to make.

  6. I agree with FRANK D and Dawgpound. Thumbs up to you! I really have nothing more to add to their statements.

  7. If he doesn't fight Cotto, Mosley, even Margarito, he doesn't deserve to be in the top 20. Thumbs up for Frank!!!

  8. no way he need sto fight soem real opnoets he s***w de la hoya and if he had to figh sugar ray lenrod he would get knocked out!!
