Okay, so my computer was reformated around 3 times in the last 2 days and I was wondering, does that change my IP? I was banned on a forum and I want to know if they wont know it is me if I rejoin.

no it has nothing to do with your ip

banned on a forum is probably more then just you IP but also your account log in

Your IP is assigned to you temporarily by your service provider. Technically it's called a lease and the lease is for a certain duration. After this time is up, you get a new IP on a new lease. You can force a lease renewal (and new IP) by simply unplugging your modem from the broadband line for a short period of time.

Formatting your hard drive and reinstalling your operating system has NOTHING to do with your IP.

When someone is banned from a forum, they usually ban your IP, but also your account login, so you will have to reregister.

Well, you could just pull out the phone jacket where your computer connects to the internet for 18 hours, and plug it all back in. That resets your IP address.
