  1. it's a wonderful idea as long as you can deal with it.  I'm putting my baby up for adoption and my boyfriends sister and husband are adopting him.  thats how it turned out we never planned that from the beginning, i just can't imagine wanting to go through this if you didn't have to.  i would give anything to go back in time and never have s*x.

  2. My  husband and I adopted our daughter from my neice. You can either have a child so they can adopt or you can see about donating your  or your eggs Tha can be alot of money. IF you have a child so they can adopt its less expenxive. It cost us a total of 601.00 to do a family adoption. . Either way is a wonderful way for you to help you SIL. Good luck.

  3. I think if you offer to be a surrogate (where you would carry their child for them) would be a wonderful thing. This can happen in a number of ways. Either they would take his sperm and her egg and fertilize it outside the womb then implant it in you. Two, they would take your egg and his sperm. Three, they would take her egg and a donor's sperm (perhaps your husband's).

Talk to your brother and sister-in-law so that they can make the decision. I think this is a great offer, but they have to be the ones to agree to it. Pregnancy is hard enough. Watching someone else carry your baby is even harder.

  4. That is a great idea, as long as you can emotionally handle giving up the baby at the end of the pregnancy.  I have heard stories where there is a lot of resentment on both parties.  Please make sure that this is a step that you are ready for.

But once you are sure, this is probably the best thing one person could ever do for another!

  5. You can be a surrogate mother. My Mom did that for my Aunt after she had cervical cancer after her first son. Basically, you have to be in good health now and have been pregnant before. So since you have, that pregnancy also had to be a very healthy one with as little complications. I would definitely bring it up with them and if they are for it, then talk with your OBGYN as to the next steps to take.

p.s. I think that is totally awesome what you want to do! If a family member for mine was in the same sitation, I would definitely want to help if I was healthy and able to.

    God Bless!

  6. No.  I don't think it's a good idea - how confusing for the child

  7. I'd spend some time talking to a psychologist first. Where's the child in all of this? Imagine finding out that your parents had you with the SOLE intention of giving you away?  Sounds pretty ******** to me.

I'm sorry for your SIL and her husband but life will go on for them with or without children.
