Yes, but so far the contribution to economic growth is marginal. Unless nex exports are high and sustained for quite some time, impact will not be subsntail. High net exports is a measure of affitional aggregate demand arising from foreign sources and hence increased income to people engaged in exporting industries and this leads high er domestic consumtion and higher aggregate expenditure further. This process goes on to create a multiplier effect on the GDP and hence leads to higher economic growth.
