Has one bolt of lightening ever been seen striking another? Is such a thing even possible?

  1. No. Not possible.  The angle of viewing may fool someone into thinking that, but the discharges do not meet.


  2. I'm not sure.  It's probably possible, but then again who knows, lighting may actually repel other lightning.

  3. I have never seen it and I doubt it is possible.  Both are charged with the same polarity.  They would merge into one big lightening bolt..
