Has our government in Washington enslaved us to China?

It seems we really cannot speak up about those Monks being extinguished because we have borrowed trillions of dollars from China to finance our war in Iraq. Our war against civil rights in Iraq means we cannot speak out aginst civil rights violations in China?

  1. yes even harley stuff comes from there

  2. No. What you are saying is China's propaganda. America does not want China to buy our debt and it is for a good reason.

China owns very little U.S. debt as a percentage of the GDP. China only owns less than 6% of all of the U.S.'s outstanding debt.

    U.S. Treasury website:

Also, the debt is not at historic levels as a percentage of the GDP. Also, the debt to GDP ratio is currently declining. And many other first world countries have far greater debt to GDP ratios.

Many U.S. investors want China to sell off the U.S. debt because in the long term it will decrease the trade deficit (improve the stock market, boost home prices, increase consumer spending, increase job growth, etc.)

America does not want China to buy our debt. China only buys our debt to devalue its currency so it can create an artificially created trade deficit. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...  What you heard that made you think that way is communist propaganda. China is using propaganda to try to control U.S. economic and foreign policies.

  3. Quite honestly we should let other people in other countries deal with their own civil rights issues.  If they are happy being pounded into the ground by a dictatorial government then we should let them enjoy it.

  4. Although China does hold the majority of our country's debt. We are free to speak out against the Monks in Tibet, however we may not be completely free to act upon those ideas. This is where the 2008 Olympics come in to play. We would boycott the Olympics but China holds our debt, so we have to be very careful.

  5. We can speak up against whom we choose.  What war against civil rights are you speaking of in Iraq.  I would be interested in hearing this reasoning.
