  1. I audited a class of biological anthropology some time ago. As a scientists, an ethologists, I was shocked at the lip service payed to evolutionary theory, while the theory was being gutted in the name of ideology. For instances; it is quite well known among scientists that s*x is well influenced by biology and the strategies between the sexes is evolutionarily developed in Darwinian natural selection. The gist of anthropological theory on the subject is 20 years out of date. They still use findings from Bandura that imply that the sexes are socially constructed, when recent experiments with vervet monkeys show that toy preference is not cultural; in other words taught. It would be highly politically incorrect, though, for this social science, anthropology, to teach the truth, rather than some PC BS.

    PS For example; the rant below me.

  2. It has actually helped if anything. Political attitudes like racism have hert it. For instance africa was deemed backwards, and as a consequence, has been over looked.

    This is despite Pyramids, and even a sub-saharan indigenous great wall. But then that gets connected to a queen sheba who should have died thousands of yeas prior. Most of the pyramids are in upper (southern) nile, despite most of their slaves coming from the other direction. They just now (FAIRLY recently) found an 10000 year - old canoe in west africa. In the photos, it looked like local people helping. Now that's lack of attention. It was assumed for the longest that Egypt colonizedand started  Kush. Then they discovered, not only was it the other way -around (kush is older), but Kush had also subdued egypt before vice-versa, but decided not to take-over. Civilizations in the sahara (before it dried up a LONG time ago predate kemet.)

    The first signs of modern human behavior were found in south africa far from NE (sudan) africa where the first humans came from.

    Likewise, this would cause someone to ignore europe, but THEY HAVE RECENTLY FOUND PYRAMIDS IN BOSNIA (SW EUROPE) THAT PRE-DATE EGYPT'S. HOWEVER, those are no signs of a civilization as advanced as egypt's.

    BE WARNED OF THE FOLLOWING: This is an intelligent post. (at least well-informed)

    NO such thing as RACE;

    There is more genetic variation IN certain so-called races that in-between them.

    Therefore race is not a reliable concept; it DOESN'T EXIST biologically or genetically.

    It's merely a social-concept based on PHENOTYPES.

    One example is the Australian Aboriginies. They look like black african, but are actually closer related to asians. More-over the current east-asian phenotype (you know, like the slanted eyes) is not the default type. At one piont they looked more european.

    Wait I said, there is no such thing as RACE or SUBSPECIES.

    This is wrong. Sub-species do exist.

    What I should have said, was: THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS RACE OR SUBSPECIES ~ IN HUMANS ~ .

    As an entire species, we vary less than a SMALL group OF APES.

    The above should be a tell-tale sign FOR THE BRIGHT.

    One more thing. If anything is politically correct now days, it IS RACE.

    It is easy to see when Out-dated books like The Bell Curve still get citedm, despite it's being RETARDEDLY ILL METHODOLOGICALLY, and racist to boot. Also, I find it very perculiar that people who are against this sizeable phenominon are labeled as politically correct. (book: The Mismeasure of Man)

  3. political correctness ruins everything in which it comes into contact.
