  1. Not really I very rarely use the website although I do think it's a pretty cool concept. And Amiboo I love your avatar lol.

  2. Not as much as the European Union.  I miss having all those separate currencies and feeling as if I left one country for another.  Oh well, at least traveling there is more efficient.

  3. Nope, since discovering Google Earth, I've now added places I would be interested in seeing. It really helps travellers to scope out the area before landing there and have no idea or direction on what they need to do.

I like to know what I get myself into, especially if it is a foreign country!

  4. I dont think so. And I dont think it ever will. Like will a postcard of the Eiffel Tower ever beat being in Paris itself? I dont think so.

  5. Actually, I think the exact opposite. I think that seeing a potential vacation spot on GE is addicting, and will get the viewers MORE excited about a vacation to that spot. Imagine it as when a company gives a free trail period to a product. Why do they make this offer? Not to lose money, but rather to get the users addicted to the product, so they will make a purchase that ordinarily wouldn't have been made. You can find these offers all over the place, and it's the same way with seeing a sample picture of your vacation spot. What you see on GE is just the "trail period". You purchase the vacation to experience the entire product.

PS - Great answer amiboo. My thoughts exactly. Cool avatar.

  6. no. I don't think so.

  7. Not for me.

  8. No it's added some because now it's easier to see how things are related spatially.

  9. Ummm...HECK NO! Would you rather visit the place of your dreams or just look at it? The best part of traveling is the experiences you go through...and you definitely can't do that with "Google Earth."

  10. Not at all!  Sometimes I'll check out a place that I'm traveling to just to see the lay of the land but it in no way replaces or takes away from seeing the real thing when I get there.

If anything it adds to it cause I like getting a peek at where I'm going before I go.
