  1. Here's a map of the brain. There is no function called intuition on it.

However, others think that the right side of the brain is where intuition develops.

Then there are others who favor the pineal gland as the source of intuition.

Will the real "science" please stand up? (Oh no! They all stood up!)

  2. The cerebral cortex. Intuition is merely educated guesswork. Other forms of intuition have not been shown to exist.

  3. This would greatly depend on how you define both intuition and love. For instance sexual love of a romantic partner would probably activate a different part of the brain than the love you have while looking at your new born baby.

What intuition is and what you imagine it's cause to be would effect what areas of the brain you attempted to correlate it with.

There is an interesting book on intuition that I listed below.

    Psi

  4. I Agree once again with T R up there.

  5. I agree that intuition would be more associated with the right side of the brain.  The right side of the brain controls the left side of the body, and the left side of the brain controls the right side of the body as well as speech and reasoning.

The right side of the brain is also associated with artistic activity.

Clues about what part of the brain does what come when people have brain damage, such as in a stroke.
