  1. A useful question.

For two reasons, this happened to me only on three or four occasions.

First, when I was a child and then a teenager, my parents, teachers, relatives and friends were all good to me.

Later, when I grew up, I chose my friends well and also took care not to allow anyone to pick on me and get away with it easily. Once I established my personality as one who would not hurt others, and would not allow others to hurt me in any way, no one has dared to pick on me just because they had some private grievances of their own.

You are right about people picking on others for no earthly reason. There are many insects like these in society, and they are able to thrive because parents and teachers drill into the heads of children that patience is a great virtue and they must never hurt the feeings of others. Instead they must teach children never to hurt others and also never to allow anyone to hurt them in any way.

I have firm faith in the dictum : ' Intolerance of intolerance is the only way to ensure tolerance in society.'

  2. Yes and by someone i was exceptionally nice to. I think he might of liked me. I am very pretty or so i get told alot.

  3. Yeah a bible guy handing out free bibles ripped into my life a while ago just because I said I didn't want one because I didn't really believe in their religion.

  4. Yes for two years after I had worked in the same place for 5 years before it began and had rave reviews about my work ethic and performance. A job I loved to go to became a nightmare job I cried over daily.

I got mentally harmed from the way I was treated. Well in the end it was not just a random pick on me thing. It was a highly calculated way of getting me to quit, thought out by a psychiatrist new at the work place, who selfishly wanted his hand picked team rather than those of us who were hired by the other Psychiatrist.

No matter if it is random or not. Don't allow it to run your life. Change schools if you have to. Change anything necessary as long as its healthy for you but don't allow a certain crowd or individual to rule your world.

And know its probably the luck of the draw anyway and keep telling yourself you are worthy of friendship, kindness and respect no matter what. Talk to your parents, school counselor or anyone you trust. Don't keep the hurt feelings bottled up.

  5. Oh, yes.I was just an 11 yr old kid when a 15 yr old made a big fuss because I just said a guy looked at her while she was bathing (n there wasn't a soul nearby who heard this dumb c**p) . She bought her parents into this n her idiotic  parents called up mine n made a big fuss over this. And even now I wonder why I was so d**n unlucky with that gal.
