Has steam engine Santa Fe 3751 been in a film?

Has the restored steam engine Santa Fe 3751 been used in any feature films? I saw a great documentary on it, and it is restored and being used by hobbyists, and since it is based in San Bernadino, thought it might have been used in some hollywood films. I have been unable to find any films with it starring, however.

  1. The only film i know of that it was in was Pearl Harbor.It was a small part but that was her.


  2. Andy F is correct.  The only other film that I know of, belongs to the Pentrex Train Videos.  They had some really nice footage in those clips.

    I am very glad to see folks are restoring those old puffers.

    Our club just voted to restore our pride and joy.

    Its a 2-6-6-2T Mallet Logger.  When its completed, it will be one of a very few articulated Logging Locomotives in operation.  

    The project slated after that one is our Lima Shay 90 Ton.

    Ahh! Geared Steam!  So Cool!
