both, but you really have to be at the right channel at the right time cuz most of these shows nowadays have encouraged my more zombie-like behavior

Both, but on balance it goes to the zombieside. Funny you should ask that today, I just cancelled my cable subscription to free my head from c**p!

the shows i previously watched had no education value at all, but on average i'd estimate about 2 1/2 hours per day for computer/tv combined. recently I started viewing the news and some other quality programming that actually offers knowledge instead of fast-paced low attention span stuff

Apart from the occasional movie, I only watch the news and documentaries these days. About one hour of TV I suppose. I tried to watch it tonight and it just made me go to sleep LOL. But I think the science and history channels are good for learning about new stuff and old.

funny question..but actually...it helped me because i can relate to the romance stories  and just take life lessons...and like documentaries are good. nd discovery and animal channels....the rest just makes you a couch potato with a cherry on top. i love cherriez hough so its okk...

It's learned me some but zombification has also happened especially during big brother, idol & any kind of reality show - bring back something good like the A Team or Knight Rider

I don't watch tv much now. But when I was younger I learned a lot from PBS (the american public broadcasting station). Especially shows like Wishbone that taught about classic literature

Neither I jam to the stereo 24/7 & get my a$$ up & dance crazily around the whole place. (lol I just couldn't help myself).  Some  people will probably say  couch potato's.   Have a good night. :0)

Additional Details:  It's YA! that turns us into zombies asking, answering,  voting  & laughing ourselves silly @ some of the questions & answers (how many hours  were you on other night when you knew it was way passed bedtime?). When I watched tv I  learned how to scratch & play with self.
