You might be getting the Irish flag mixed up with the Indian flag because on the Indian flag there is a logo on the white section

no. the flag is still vertical strips of green, white and gold. (even though it looks orange). it is called the tricolor.

Yes thats the flag of the Republic of Ireland but we say its Green, White and Gold I don't know why cause its look Orange to me.

Yes the Irish flag is the same. The Green goes toward the "mast" or "flag pole." The green represents the Catholic and/or Celtic Irish the orange represents the Protestant influence in the north. The white stands for neutral ground between them.

white is for peace between the two sides

orange is for british/protestants

northern ireland is still BRITISH and part of the UK, we're not taken over by those irish people yet... we are still british here

Still the same ,Protestant Ulstermen have their flag though - it`s the flag of England (St. George cross) with a Red Hand of Ulster superimposed on the junction of the arms of the cross.

i've never seen so many stupid answers regarding ireland, in the north no we are not british or ever will be, protestants like it or not your irish too! over in britain your still regarded as a thick mick no matter how british you think you are. and the flag is green white and gold depending on your stance as a republican. green for ireland white for peace and gold for the holy father/vatican the papal see i:e catholism.
