  1. I think the only reason he brought her into it was to win the votes of ex hillary supporters to be honest.

  2. no... it is between strong core values and hypocrisy.

and yes, it is a brilliant masterstroke from McCain to have chose Palin!  but not just because she is a woman, which will draw the Hillary supporters!  she is strong and smart.  she has a strong base in conservative republican values, which has been missing for years, i'll add. she stands by her convictions and proudly backs her position on policy.  something Obama never has done.

    i think it's a fantastic choice!

  3. No.... the choice is to spend 4 more years of  " lets give everything to the rich and take everything from the working  class " or try something new

  4. Yes, it seems so.  Perhaps McCain is a force to be reckoned with.

  5. NO! That is what McCain is praying everyone will think. It is between change and continuing failed policies.

  6. On the surface maybe but when Dan Quayle was picked as Geo Bush, Sr VP people wondered about that and thought he would keep Bush from being elected.  Usually the VP doesn't affect the election.  Voters focus on the two at the top of the ticket.

  7. sure is!

  8. I am also on the outside - (Canada)

Our TV is barraged with the Presidential race

There is no substance to it - It is all glitter and show -

So yes it seems to be as silly as a black man vs a white woman

The American 2 party system is not much of a democratic ideal to begin with - There are only 2 centers of power and their stances are remarkably similar

There is no opposition offered to many of the common policy's that these 2 major mainstream powers have to offer

But the worst of it - Is that it is a popularity contest - The coverage is that of a teens party before the prom as they jostle through irrelevant gossip and idle insults mixed with accusations

In every way this US election is a horrid reminder of how base crass thoughtless and superficial the general public has become

I don't know about the UK but it isn't much better here in Canada - but at least we have more than 2 party's to choose from Parliamentary democracy is at least a better facade of democratic process than the dog and pony show to the south

  9. It seems like America has lost it's mind. Let's just pray that who ever takes over will do the job.

  10. no its between republicans and DemocRATS

  11. As an American I believe we should decide on who would be most qualified for the position. Not base the election on skin color, s*x, religion, etc...

Hopefully fellow Americans are smarter than that, and look beyond the stereotyping that news media so loves to barter with.

  12. Yes!

  13. Well I think it was a bold move to include a woman in the race ... they might take up the great opportunity that the Democrats lost.
