Seems they are now on a mission to discredit ALL news media with regard to any issue about Palin, and minimize the role of a Vice President to fit the minimal qualifications she possesses.

McCain has called for an end to the "faux media scandal"...lol...

Is this the new strategy ?

I was sure that the strategy before was to spread lies about Obama....and I haven't heard any new ones yet .....Just the same old ones still in circulation.

Are they forced to going from offense to defense now because of the Palin pick ?

Funny, I was thinking the same thing about the Dems---their strategy is supposed to be (according to Obama) to stick to the issues and not be about mud-slinging and personal attacks.

The same liberal feminists who would be all for a woman with exactly the same credentials and/or baggage running on their ticket are the ones coming out of the woodwork to attack.  It is hilarious to watch, and it is going to backfire and backlash big time with the soccer moms come election day.

Just keep it up, and in the meantime, McCain/Palin are laughing through the "briar patch" all the way to the inaugural celebration, because they couldn't buy all this free media publicity, which negative or no, gives them a chance to make public statements and give folks a second look at their ticket!

Did Obama get this much media publicity with his choice of Biden? Nope, because Biden is the typical liberal Democrat and boring as heck.  But Palin is a breath of fresh air that the good old boy liberal windbags are choking on right now!

If they had vetted her thoroughly, this whole exercise wouldn't have come around.

The teenage pregnancy story is clearly an indication that the McCain campaign do not know what they are doing.

The heart of this whole story is that he is unprepared to be clearly and concise and RIGHT executive decision.

The guy may be a great soldier but the country needs more than a soldier now.

The country needs a smart and logical thinking President.

I think John McCain is behind an era or two. The time has passed that we as a nation will blindly accept a person into a position of power and authority without scrutinizing their credentials. John McCain insults our intelligence by asking the American public to give blanket approval to someone so unknown and goes on to insult us further by reprimanding the media for covering Palin so closely. Of course people are going to be interested enough in who would be filling the post of second in command to want to know her politics , her stance on issues that matter to us and yes, also who is she as a person. it's not the nation's fault that she happens to have some skeletons in the closet, and the fact that she has almost no voting record on issues our nation is the most concerned about leaves us scratching our heads. As a woman voter i feel as if the McCain camp was hoping to catch hold of the portion of the predominantly female voters that were still feeling loyalty to Hillary Clinton. I find this extremely insulting-am I moronic enough to vote for just any old gal just so there is a v****a in the white house? While I disagree with some of the speculation regarding her daughter, I hope the American public keeps that magnifying glass right over Sarah Palin and her abuse of power case and any politics she has been involved with.
