It was on the Simpsons for a couch gag. The whole family was wearing skates and had a black eye, Homer also had teeth missing. They were skating around the couch with Homer holding the Cup.

LMAO.. an animated version wouldnt be the REAL THING Bill.... but I actually cant answer if an animated version ever did.

Maybe they should. And use some SWEDE Red Wings as guests on the show as voices and characters.... think about it... It might be a fun show!

PS- A girl I grew up is a writer (now production) for that show... look at the Credits..... Allison Elliot!

It would cost money to use the cup or it's image in a show.  So that is probably why you never seen it.

Just as our song has all of a sudden become such a hot item.  Good for TSN....it is a symbolic event of what will eventually happen to hockey on TV in Canada.  CBC can't compete with TSN and Sportsnet and eventually I'll be watching my Saturday night Leaf game on some channel other than 6.
