I have family in Arizona; their 3 kids have been taken away from them and now my mother and my aunt are trying to get them as foster children, but we feel that we are not being told all the information we need to know. If anyone has any information on foster care in arizona or cases that would be very helpful!!!! Thank you.

  1. Most, if not all states will gladly let a family memeber in any state foster the children. But, social services first obligation is to do all they can to helpfix the families problems and to  reunify the parents and children and it might be best to keep the children in the same area so visitation can take place.

  2. I adopted my niece from CPS, my sister and husband lost the kids and they were placed 1 with me the other 2 with my parents, however my sisters in-laws were trying to get the girls.

They could have if they were approved but they themselve had passed cps with their kids when they were little so they didnt qual.

CPS always places the kids with family member when permissable, safe, loving healthy environments and you dont need to be rich, God knows I'm not..

They just want family to step in and assume responcibliity first before foster home placement.

    Good Luck
