Has the U.S. government dissolved from a 3 check & balence system to a 2 check system?

no longer is it the legislature, executive, and judiciary brances checking each others power & abilities, it's the democrats lining up to shoot down the republicans & vissa versa.

& then there are the "3rd parties", which are being ever more shut out by the two top contendrs.

how can we get control back to the people of which this great nation was founded for?

the system is screwwed up, we just have to p[oint it out and fix it, other than that we can complain.

yes your right its just dems. vs. reps. while the third group watches from the sidelines.

No checks and balances at all.Not for a long time and several EO's,PDD's,and PD's ago.Each branch does what it desires.Too late to regain control.The COG drills weren't being done for amusement recently.

Because of the slim majorities that the democrats mantain in Congress, gridlock is rampant (especially the Senate, where the dems only have a 1 vote majority).

There is going to come a point when the government checks bounce; long after we are taxed and the majority of wealth is in the government accounts.

It's better to manage one's own money.
