  1. I doubt it, neither has Europe learnt otherwise rather than integration why is there Balkanisation happening all over the EU especially with the Muslim communities seemingly wilful self segregation.

  2. I'm not going spent time commenting too much on this because to me it's Horrendous Crime - Total Genocide of Muslims - Ethnic Cleansing of Muslims in Europe, deliberate  according to various TV documentaries on the subject matter as well as Internet articles, radio programmes, books & journals. By the way I'm no radicalist or no extremist or no terrorists but emphasizing serious breaches of Total Injustices & Blantant Genocide of the Muslim Community in Europe which needs to be said & serious points that needs to be look at very seriously, seriously exposed & raise. Where is the Tolerance? Where is the Humanity in all this?  For me - it's a Criminal Act in Europe!!!!!!!!! Let Europe be ashamed of it!!! It's totally Criminal!!!!!!!!!!! Europe must lead the way & set an example of tolerance for others to follow. I rather speak out on the hidden secret policies targeting the Muslim Community worldwide deliberately - especially from Europe. OK I agree on that anyone does terrorism must be lock up for the crime - criminal acts - lock up the terrorist but not lock up the innocent souls due to fabricated evidence due to people prejudice, people ignorance & people biasness  - a complete 'Muslim Hunt' - like rendition in Europe e.g. - Secret CIA ran prisons in Poland & Romania - BBC News website & other Eastern European countries which is not mention on the BBC News & others news website which was exposed thoroughly by the World Media. Both countries Poland & Romania have a high rate of Hidden Racism or Blantant Racism which needs to be exposed to the rest of the world for everyone to see very clearly now. But it does not mean that Muslims are terrorists - this perception has clouded the eyes of people or the ignorant in society. If you are a Muslim or you know someone is Muslim - they are automatically associated you or the person you know with Terrorism - Thanks for Policies in the USA & Europe - Islamophobia has grown tremendously & deliberately. Here is an example of this in the USA from the website: http://www.reuters.com/article/domesticN... And it was also done in the UK too - New strategy to stem flow of Terror recruits - Areas profiled for extremist risk - source the Guardian UK Newspaper on Thursday 28.02.08. I believe there is some kind of Global Propaganda is going here. For me I'm totally embarrassed by the United Nations for not acting but allowing the Male Muslims of Srebrenica - Bosnia to be executed. Also their wives & daughters were rape in process of Cultural Assassination deliberately in Europe which is a form of Cultural Wars. Are these European values we are trying to promote? Their wives & daughters of Srebrenica gave birth to the children from the process of their rape ordeal according to various documentaries on the subject matter. Even some of the Muslim women of Srebrenica were rape by UN Dutch Soldiers which I'm hearing on the radio but I cannot validated this - this matter must be seriously investigated thoroughly. This is probably as an equivalent to the Holocaust and a Crime of Modern European Twentieth Century History. Where is the Tolerance in all this? I notice that the Europeans, European Governments, European Establishment & European Union (EU) seems to be targeting the Muslim community deliberately for their so called failed Integration Policy & failed Immigration Policy -they see the Muslims in Europe as Cultural Polluntants that needs to be wipe out totally which I'm not frightened to say it. Now they are arguing about a Minaret which is a small tower in a Mosque in Switzerland. Deliberate, intentional & even racist to a degree!!!!! There is a growing Xenophobia & also Subliminal Racism in Europe which needs to be raise, expose thoroughly & need to be said. In the UK and in the USA having a Minaret on the Mosque is no problem at all.  To me it is a fear of losing their Cultural Identity - Preservation of European Culture & European Identity. The solution to the problem would be allow the Minaret to be built in a way without losing European Architectural Identity - look at the other buildings in the neighbourhoods & design the building & the minaret in the fashion without forgoing the beauty of the European City Architectural Designs & the Islamic Religion. Also look at the Eurovision Song Contest voting period you will able see that countries are voting for each other regionally or neighbouring voting or politically dislike for each other not for the best song - It does not take a genius to be able to see that - Moldova votes for Romania & vice versa, Bosnia votes for Slovenia & vice versa, Turkey votes for Azerbaijan & vice versa, Denmark votes for Iceland & vice versa, Greece votes for Cyprus & vice versa & etc. It also shows high rate of biasness & a high rate of racism from the European countries to a degree when the black singer for the United Kingdom came last in the Eurovision Song Contest May 2008 - this is a very good indicator of attitudes in Europe. Please note that the UK entrant Abraham, 43, received just 14 points from European voters, placing him joint last. None of the 22 Eastern European countries involved in the competition awarded a single vote to the British singer. People are not blind anymore - they all can see this very clearly now! Also everyone is not stupid anymore! People can see other people true colours very clearly!!!!!!!http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment... In Malaysia - there are Hindu temples, Buddhist temples & churches in a Muslim country. In Tunisia & Morocco are Muslim countries which have a very large Jewish community overthere & also have synagogues there. In Egypt they have a very large Coptic Christians community with a very large cathedral overthere especially in Cairo. So the Muslim World do not have any problem with Religious Intolerance to a degree. All the information I acquire came from Travel Books & books on the countries. In Holland especially, analysing the problem in Europe in depth - they deliberately targeted the Islamic religion by allowing the holy texts of the Koran to be superimpose by a lustful naked woman - this resulted in the death of the person who did this. www.zimbio.com/The+Qur'an/articles/124/N... www.payvand.com/news/archive/3-08.html, www.natashatynes.org/newswire/2006/01/no... For any religion in the world - a lot of people would be outcry & complete sabotaged & complete deliberate provocation. I feel sorry for what happened to the person who did this but the person should understand the outcome of people emotion. The person did not respect the religion - it is matter respect here - if it was done in the Hindu religion the result would have been the same or if it was done in the Jewish religion with the torah the result would have been the same or even Christian religion the result would have been the same here! I can understand why the Muslim Community in Europe do not trust the Dutch Community or the Dutch Government due to Srebrenica even Muslim countries are keeping distance from them which might cause some severe International embarrassment from past incidents. I also think that European Union should keep a solid & stringent eye out for the behaviour of Holland towards the Muslim community in Europe, elsewhere & other Muslim countries. European union must make sure that Holland does not get carry away with its anti-Muslims policies before it might cause serious Global Chaos. Also there are other incidents in Holland which can be added to the list of deliberate provocation towards the Muslim community in Europe.  Why is it, they are only targeting the Muslim religion? That is quite strange here!!!!!! They see the Islamic religion as an evil empire but this needs to said. For me the Islamic religion has been around in Andalus - Andalucia, Spain & even in Italy before the European Union were formed & Islam has been in Europe for very long time since the dark ages & etc and giving inspiration to the Enlightenment of Europe. They seem to have a fear of Muslims or the Islamic Religion. The question you need to ask yourselves - Why is a country like Malaysia that no one fears? The whole population is basically Muslims. The whole idea is a myth than what people should be looking at is the mindset of the people - how they react & how they act but not based it on the religion which is actually wrong! To me it is totally hypocritical & complete balderdash targeting the Islamic faith. Look at Dubai for example - it is in a Muslim country - no one fears that city either. A total cosmopolitan mix like the countries Brazil, Malaysia & Mauritius. These are very good examples of racial, ethnic & religious diversity countries, OK I agree there is no such thing as a perfect utopia but every country has some problems but it is a fact of life if we did not. Look at Sri Lanka e.g. - It's a Buddhist & Tamil country basically terrorism is tremendously high there - therefore it's the mindset of the people, social conditions as well as the ignorance, tunnel vision mentality, complete prejudice that drives people to do terrorism & doing violence. People prejudices & racism needs to be watch thoroughly. I hope these people of Srebrenica have justice they deserve & the UN Dutch soldiers should be imprison for a period of 7 years long for failing to protect the innocent as well as preventing the injustice & not protecting them but allowing them to be exterminated in front of their eyes. It's totally criminal!!!! They should have been soldiers from the Muslim countries giving trust to the people of Srebrenica or having Chinese troops as a neutral option instead allowing them to be massacre continously. A lot of Muslims around the world are saying is it a policy deliberately targetting the Muslim people, their faith & Muslims from Muslim countries are seriously watching European Union behaviour

  3. if u r looking for a definitive answer the best is:

    History repeats itself!

yes it will continue to happen unless and until humanity is united agst such conflagrations.

we will never learn as human memory is always short and always in retrospective mode and mood!

we're being naive to think that UN can really solve the problem.

some problems can be alleviated if the powers-that-be r kind enough to put aside self-national interests and putting humanity's interest in the forefront.

alas, it may not happen until we learn / know of a another way of governance.

again with change of leadership, with every election, the next generation of leaders would find the 'battlefield' new and hence recurring.

    sad but true

    u r right!

  4. The United Nation is not doing what it was designated for, to keep the peace in the world. is doing nothing about that, it is worthless.

  5. I doubt it very much.

  6. The failure in Srebrenica was the WORLD'S failure. It was the failure of the commander of the 400 armed Dutch military people who were present at the time. It was the failure of those who knew about the impending massacre and the results but did nothing. It was the failure of every government who knew what was happening and did nothing. To lay the failure entirely at the feet of the UN is ridiculous -- they share the blame, but it's not entirely the fault of the UN.

Has the WORLD learned from its failure in Srebrenica? I think the Dutch have, as they continue to soul-search about their role in what happened. I don't think any other country has truly examined its own inactions; everyone seems to still be in denial. Has the UN learned? I'm not sure a lot of people in HQs of UN institutions have learned how to react when their own UN people on the ground are describing an urgent, desperate situation, but I look at the urgent words and requests for help by UN staff regarding Darfur, and it seems to be in stark contrast to what they were saying -- or not saying -- in Rwanda and Srebrenica.
