  1. it will never go out of india.  Most politicians are depending upon the caste system.  They believe their caste to get elected. They are the vote bank.  Therefore, the politicians are not interested to end the caste system in india. who is a real politician ?  A real politician should be a thinker about the people and on people's welfare, but they are not interested in people's welfare, but they are more interested in their own family welfare.  There are political parties in the name of caste and how can the caste system in india will go ?  They never know the pulse of the people and they always for power sharing and in power front.

  2. IT NEVE WILL.ATLEAST FOR THE NEXT 100  YEARS,

  3. Caste system still exists in India and it will never end, just as racism still exists in this world and will never end.  When British occupied India, their policy was "Divide and Rule" as a means of preventing uprise against their Raj (or rule), today, unfortunately our own Indian politians are using the same political strategy but instead of it being called "Divide and Rule", they are dividing and ruling by using a "strategy" we all know by the name of the "caste system",  against their own people for one's own selfish gains and needs.

Please read this article from "The Hindu" (which is a major National Newspaper in India) for more information regarding the caste system, which still exists in India today, this article gives you a clear example.  This article was published on August 18, 2007.
