  1. I have had no problems, maybe you need to situate it in a cooler place.

  2. No because mine has four fans in it!

  3. Mine is ok.

  4. No, is your computer in direct sunlight?

  5. Not at all.

  6. No mine has been fine .

  7. Yep i built my dads pc and used a large cpu heatsink without a cpu fan, but several case fans. Well it's stuck in the corner, cpu doing about 64degc, mobo doing nearly 40 and the thermal saftey keeps tripping. (powers off with no warning, power must be removed to reset).

I'm glad my dad doesn't use it much or i might have to rebuild it lol.

Yeah i hate those stupid whiny fans! Now i work in the it room with 6 server fans on full pelt screaming in my ear all day. DOH

Ps if you'rs is overheating, check exisiting cooling fans, and consider replacing the cpu heatsink with a good one (zalman etc) but don't forget to get a good heat transfer paste and some IPA (Isopropyl alcohol) to cleanoff the cpu and allow a good heat transfer to the cpu.

  8. probably your computer -

    1) make sure all the fans are working.

    2) Get an air duster and with the computer UNPLUGGED, blow all the lint, dust, pet hair, etc. out of all of the heat sinks (little metal ribbed do hickeys mounted on components). Make sure you get the ones under fans very clean! All this can build up very quickly depending on where your computer is located and what you have in the house. Once some builds up, it builds up faster, and it stops the airflow through the fins. no air flow, no cooling.

If you used to be fine, but have started now overheating, it is probably one of these two problems!
