Has the launch date for the 360 replacement been announced?

I have been told they are closing 360 (and have thereby abandoned it) and are going with a different platform. I'm just curious as to when the platform will be available for use.

Any "official" updates would be in the Yahoo!360 team blog - so, no. See http://blog.360.yahoo.com/product_360 for more details or click the "Yahoo!360 News" link in the upper right corner of your Y!360 space.

They said changes would happen in "early 2008". In my opinion, that means anytime between January and the end of March 2008. Keep checking the 360 team blog for any "official" updates on the situation. They also said that they wouldn't provide updates on the blog for "several" months. I'm guessing we're still in the "several" month period.

So, your choice is to be patient regarding this situation or move to another social networking service. I'm waiting this out.

There has been no word from Yahoo as to when any of this will happen. The last time that Yahoo made any type of statement was back in last October to say they have given up here will pull the plug sometime early this year. There has not been one word since then.
