First off this is a republic, not a democracy as you have been taught.  a republic is ruled by law that keeps government down, a democracy is ruled by the majority regardless of previous law.  We are supposed to obey the Constitution directly which states wqhat government can and cannot do.  That is a republic.  And yes the media is our enemy.
