Has the media created a false perception of beauty?

Like all the photo-shopped pictures of seemingly beautiful people that millions of people try to attain without success. What is your view on this?

Beauty is in preception...

...and so cannot be false.

Media can create what ever it likes...

...but cannot make you like what it creates.

I believe it is all Marketing.  Projecting a special kind of 'beauty' as fashion manufacturers dictate.  It is a lot of Money behind this ' Industry". We are living in the Age of Icon.  Picture has the Strength to influence the crowd.  It is all, Marketing.  It is all about Money.

True Beauty needs for someone to keep looking for it. To care about it, to love it.  Society is lazy enough for that.....  :(
