Has the minimum age for driving changed to 21 if born 1993 and later?

im born in early januray 1993 and i heard that they're going to change the law, drivers must be 21 to drive if their born in 1993 or later?is this true?

Absolutely not: The raising of the minimum driving age was mentioned in parliament earlier this year, but no changes have been proposed.

Ever since then, someone on here asks this question once a day - too many Sun readers about, I think.

I don't believe so.

It's still 16.

The minimum age is to remain at 16 for motorcycle and 17 for a car.

If the changes that have been proposed come into force they will make learning to drive more expensive and the period from starting to learn to untill the first driving test will be longer with an enforced minimum number of lessons with a licenced driving instructor.

When or if these changes will come is as yet an unanswered question.

it changed to 23, cus all the thick teenagers were to much of a risk!
