Has the old Metropolitan Railway Shepherds Bush station been demolished?

On the old Metropolitan Railway line there used to be a Shepherds Bush station that shut in 1914. There is now a Shepherds Bush (H&C line) station to the north and Goldhawk Road station to the south. I would like to know if the old Shepherds Bush site still stands as a disused station or if it has been demolished. Thanks.

  1. Demolished following closure

  2. There appear to be no remains of the original Metropolitan Shepherd's Bush station. The location of the entrance can be seen in Shepherd's Bush Market. The station buildings, platforms and access between them had all been removed by 1915
