Has the quality of english dropped in hong kong since china took it back?

hey thanks i just figured with mandarin growing there and more mainlanders, and the rush of people who left in 97 there would be a difference. just curious thanks

  2. Only if you think they somehow magically changed the people too. No, it hasn't gotten worse. The schools in both mainland China and definitely Hong Kong both teach English as part of the curriculum. Once you get to high school, classes are taught in English. This hasn't changed.

  3. Hi im a HK girl..

    I cant c any difference(quality of eng) since China took HK back.  We started learn Eng from kindergarten. (but not everyone can speak well..) And many ppl study abroad(eg US..UK..Canada and etc)

  4. People in Hong Kong are very much strong in English!
