What about any weddings or christenings?

I'm thinking about giving the old bird an invite to my wedding. D'ya think she'd come?

  1. Oh, turn off the light and get your sleep

  2. It should have been noted that The Queen generally does not even attend royal funerals. On that note, which wasn't mentioned, I can't believe this earlier example was missed!:

The Queen broke tradition when she attended the funeral of Baudouin of Belgium in 1993.

I believe that she may also attend funerals in the UK, but again, I think these are usually private funerals or the funerals of important politicians of hers.

  3. I think she is a mite too old for that stuff.

  4. She attended the funeral of her humble dresser...why not try?She might be amused!

  5. The Queen had attended the late Diana, Princess of Wales' funeral. It was attended by all members of the royal family, even though Diana was legally not apart of the British royal family ever since the divorce. As for weddings or christenings, the Queen might have been present at some of her non-royal relatives, however, the Queen will probably decline your wedding invitation. She did not even attend Prince Charles and Camilla's civil wedding ceremony, and this was a royal event that should have been celebrated by the entire British royal family.
