    The stimulus check was not an increase in the supply of money, it was a transfer payment from the US government to its citizens. The supply of money never changed; only the individuals who possess the money.


  2. No; I don't think it has.

  3. It wouldn't surprise me if it has.  Our monetary system used to be based on the gold standard; however, this is not the case anymore.  Now our money can be printed at leisure by the government and value of the American dollar has dropped dramatically.
