Has the term “social Issues” taken the place of the term ”social problems”.?

  1. issues is more appropriate as problems sound -ve.  and some problems remain unsolved and can never be solved.  so issues is kinda more logical and palatable.  

    as some gurus say we hv to reinvent the wheel every 5 to 10 years so as to renew ourselves.  just like our computer that needs refreshing, so likewise!  

    agreed! maybe silly but sometimes the masses dont know / realize it!


  2. I dear say it has...

    It goes into the debate what is a problem socially?  if the "problem" is over half the population or large enough affecting a large percentage of society, then surely it is not a "problem?"

    I do not really think the wording pe say has changed the perception of anything, and nor really should it, there are issues to be dealt with, and under this system of capitalism it will be difficult to tackle properly.
