  1. well generally safer, they no longer have to worry about being draged through thew streets for voicing their opinion. Its alot safer, but there are too many things to list and explain. Its just those animal extreamists who make this world and places like that h**l.

  2. The war in Iraq will never end for the sunnis and shiites, they have been fighting for 100's of years, a few tanks will not stop that kind of determination and fanatic mindset. Sure the muslim extremists do not like us there because they believe we represent everything that is evil in this world. The christians however view us as saviors, so it's a double edge sword for us. The bottom line is oil, they have it, we need it.

  3. If the civilian death toll since little georgie's quest for a "legacy" has not answered that question I really do not know what will. Many died for his lie, many more than would with Saddam in power.

There will be even more deaths as the result of the DU munitions used to date.  Depleted Uranium has a long half life, the soil and water will be contaminated for centuries to come.

  4. Safer today.  The Kurds aren't being gassed and the Shiites aren't winding up in mass graves any longer.
