Anyone else have a really bad feeling about this?. That it's going to get really serious quick and soon(i know some might be think HEY! it's serious now, personally i think it's just a tragic joke right now but that's just my personal opinion). Which Is also going to lead to something very very bad(Which i won't say what because i don't want to over blow it, but i know many are already what "that" is) unless the world figures out a way to stop it.

  1. The USSR was defeated in the 80s by Regan forcing them to spend more than they could on their military. Now they are going after resources which they know will support them economically.

While these morons in the world are obsessed by the US power, they ignore countries like Russia and China who have shown propensity to expand their influence and murder, assassinate, and use military action to accomplish those ambitions.

The US has attacked where it's been desperately needed, and they've had more than just cause on every single case in the last 100 years. The US has never taken territory, and they have always helped the people in the countries where they have defeated the leaders and removed them from power.

The US has also improved and brought up any country they have had as a partner in business, unlike countries in Europe who have used them and sought to control them, like the Brits int he Falkland islands, De beers evil activity in Africa which was supported by the crown, The French's dealings have been brutal and unfair often, and more. The people in the US have a lot of control, and they will not tolerate abuse of other peoples.

After rebuilding Japan and Germany, feats which the expert critics said couldn't be done, (just as they are saying about Iraq now) the US helped them achieve outstanding economic success. Japan is among the richest countries in the world, and Germany was doing pretty good until they took on the high tax heavy government model of the EU countries, and brought in West Germany which had been ruined by Russian control, as is everything Communist countries control.

The US also partnered with Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, (Philippines, greedy little corrupted embarrassment and exception to the dynamic success because the politicians were to busy stealing to allow the economic opportunity to improve the countries situation) Indonesia, India, Pakistan, More recently China, Vietnam, Thailand, and more like the Bahama's, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Mexico and some South American countries like Honduras Venezuela, Columbia, Panama, El Salvador, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, and more.

Where would these countries be without the US? Much less well off is where, as would most other countries through out the world including Russia.

The US military actions under GWB have been both the most successful, and the most humanitarian in history. The US has taken more care for civilians, and has treated enemies better than in any conflict in world history, period. The rantings and bashing over Gitmo? Which is just silly in it's gentle and respectful treatment of prisoners, and has been unprecedented in world history. If that's not good enough for anyone, then you know they are totally ignorant, or just a complete idiot.

Should the US be concerned with what the French think? Why? They only like violent Muslim nations now, and don't like the UK, Germany, or any other countries but those who don't do a thing in the world but act in hostile ways. Kind of a pattern, like their friendship with n**i Germany, so forget what they think. The UK think? Hardly, they don't like France, Germany or any other countries around them because they are basically petty and jealous of any other competing power in the world as the French are. The Germans? Hardly, while the rest of the people in Europe have become idiotically left, they lead the way, especially since the addition of E Germany who have been destroyed by Russia and their Communist propaganda, over decades.

The people of the world are fed largely inaccurate leftist c**p by the media when tends to be left all over the world, but in the US it contrasts seriously with the core values of the people. The media in the US under Republicans works to destroy the US's reputation which helps create a false impression of how things are done in the US, in the rest of the world. This leads to the idiotic point of view that the US is a worse threat to freedom in the world than countries like Iran, Russia, China, N Korea, Burma, and others extremely aggressive, power hungry, and very hostile to human rights. Where are the human rights organizations on some of the countries who treat their own people terribly? Where is the UN studies on discrimination in Africa? China? Russia? let alone the Arab countries, they do studies aimed to do political damage to republicans in the US while all this c**p is going on all over the world, and the US has the best environment for anyone with the very least discrimination of any country in the world. Is this crazy? Yep, it's crazy.

So, while Russia has it's sights on it's neighbors like Afghanistan, Georgia, Ukraine, Chechnya, Poland, and others. China is occupying and brutalizing Tibet and looking at Taiwan hard. North Korea who's government has kidnapped people from Japan right off their shores, and who starves and puts down their own people in terrible ways, not to mention the horrors and extreme religious hate that spreads world wide coming from the middle east ... the world is on a hate the US Jag.

Hello? What a group of EXTREMELY IGNORANT FOOLS the world contains. What a bunch of stupid stinking sheep. What can be done to protect them from themselves? History says nothing, until they wake up, and it takes the brink of destruction to do that, and in this age that point will be past the point where it's just to late.

  2. You know i feel the same exact way! I hope that this comes to an end soon

  3. history repeats itself, but i wish it didn't

  4. War is sometime tragically necessary, so those that say "war is bad, therefore no war ever, no matter what the reason" are just as bad as those that want to solve everything with war. Sometimes, having a war sooner can help avoid an even bigger war later. It's that kind of black and white thinking that causes history to repeat itself.

However, I don't know that the U.S. has many options right now in dealing with Russia. The debacle that is Iraq has our military tied up and our credibility has hit rock bottom. Either Russia will completely take over Georgia, or there will come some diplomatic solution. I find it pretty hard for that to happen because the U.S. and EU don't have much leverage right now.

  5. Comparing a minor territorial dispute to Hitler invading Poland is a huge stretch. It's much more comparable to India and Pakistan, who've been at odds for decades, have nuclear weapons, and haven't seriously escalated.

  6. There will always be idiots who think it can't happen to them, or in their time. The French, the idiot British Prime Minister (what's his name?) and the rest of Europe chose to ignore Hitler, as Churchill tried and tried to get them to see the light, but they wouldn't ... just like those today who say "war is bad, so no war" those idiots got themselves into a world of hurt, and so our idiots are trying to do it to the world again.

Unfortunately there will always be stupid short sighted people. They are usually in the majority, unfortunately, until the world falls down on their heads and it's to late, or close to it.

  7. It's clear the Russians want the ports and oil supply line going through Georgia. They used a weak pretext to go after it, and they will take and keep it if the world allows them (that pretty much means the US, though we are torn apart now by political game playing and posturing by the democrats, and they would use this, they would use anything as they have made clear).

It's amazing that in the face of this that garbage about the US invading on weak pretext and false information should come up. Afganistan was given every chance to cut loose those who attacked the US, but they opted for war, and they lost. Who's the bad guy there? The US to some, which is completely unreal, how idiotic is that notion?

Iraq under Saddam had invaded Kuwait and really did a number on the people. We had to go to war to get them out, and by we I mean Saudi and other countries in the region as well as quite a number of allies along with the US. Saddam made a deal with the coalition of countries, the UN presided, and he never kept it for a minute. Saddam threatened other countries with terrible distruction the whole time. He broke 17 UN resolutions in a row. Hello? are you following? After 17, the UN security council was investigating Iraq and every single country, using their own intelligence services came to the conclusion that Saddam's Iraq had WMD they were hiding, and that Iraq was a immediate threat. We are talking Russia, China, the French, British, US and the others. EVERY SINGLE COUNTRY IN THE UN SECURITY COUNCIL ... and some lame idiots say Bush lied? Hello? How utterly stupid is that? Yet it's all over the world that way, so it must be an utterly stupid world, well represented in this forum too as we can see.

The world is in a condition of idiocy that reminds the obsevant and educated of the state of the world right before WWII.

Then we have those who talk about how Bush will use everything for political advantage so people will vote republican? Good greif, it's been the democrats in the US using the war, lying about it, and attemting to force a loss in it ... for what? For political gain. What did Bush get from the war? A stab in the back he knew was comming after the democrats turned on the effort when it was past the point of no return, and he knows the press was going to go with them. Wars don't help the party in power at all, quite the opposite.

So with all this going on, the level of stupidity in the world public as well as more than half the US, Russia made a good move, though it will be devastating to the world situation and the worlds people, not to mention the people of Georgia. Oh ... but it's ok Russia did this, because they are not the US right? Where does the rest of the world think they would be without the US around to back them up? The idiots are probably about to find out, again.

Post script: 25% of Europes oil supply runs through Russia, not ALL OF IT, sheesh, ignorance abounds.

Oil has been a political weapon for decades.

The US has more oil potential than the Middle East, and many times the coal and natural gas. Too bad short sighted  idiots have stopped drilling, but substantial supply can be going within a year especially from the supplys off shore of Santa Barbera which is leaking into the ocean naturally at one Exon Valdeze spill every 4 years, which is the reality of it, given by experts who do drill for a living according to their past experience and current conditions.

The supply in the would let the pressure off the world oil supply, and Europe could get plenty of oil via tanker. There is also a huge potential in Afghanistan also, which Russia wanted as well.

Those down on democracies have only to compare life in democracies to Communist countries. Usually though, they just close their eyes and run their big mouths and spew out the most idiotic spew you will find.

The lap of wealth created by democratic capitolist systems creates many sheilded ignorant fools under it's protection from the real world, it's kind of a two edged sword.

  8. Do you remember the last time the world called for a wide boycott of the Olympics as well? That was when the n***s held the games, but that turned out well in the end... oh wait...

  9. yeah,do you think obama is ready for this ?

  10. I don't think this is it yet.

I think Russia is simply going to do a bit of long neglected house keeping.

If you look at your maps you will see that Georgia cuts Russia's corridor to Iran almost in half.

USA was starting to install military bases and missiles in Georgia.

Think of it as a pawn advance that failed.

Bush will make brave speeches about how big, bad and evil Russia is to scare his American audience into voting Republican again.

He will also cry loudly for international intervention.

If Russia does as they have said they are doing and simply stabilize the country he will claim credit for saving Georgia.

If Russia deposes Saakashvili and lets Georgia vote for a new government Bush will blame the UN for not doing anything.

Either way he wins election points in the USA for his party without committing himself to actually doing anything.

Outside of the USA America's record of invading countries on trumped up charges and their atrocious human rights record make him seem like a total hypocrite.

What Russia will do with the 2,000 troops in the country from USA and Israel might be a bit of a problem.

If they join the Georgian troops and engage the Russian army the Russians might destroy them just to prove military superiority.

If they surrender and then are deported by Russia it looks very bad for the USA and shows they are unreliable as an Ally.

One thing to keep aware of here is Russia is economically ready for war and USA is no longer ready for war.

USA pushed into what has been Russian territory for about 300 years.

If it is a land war it will be on their borders while America is an ocean away.

This is all just speculation on my part, the only thing you can really be sore about is that every diplomat from every country in the world is going crazy right now trying to solve this.

(and wishing whenever they have a spare thought that Saakashvili's mother had opted for an abortion instead of giving birth to him)

    --------------

The Georgians themselves will likely come out ahead from this event. In spite of what you hear in the press about Georgia being a democracy it was not a very good one.

Saakashvili ran a very corrupt government and used a great deal of force and intimidation, including the murder of political rivals, to keep power.

Wikipedia has a very neutral biography of him including his politics, it is an interesting read if you are interested in that

(possibly just a bit slanted in his favour).

    post script:

All the oil piplines supplying Europe run through Russia.

If they are disrupted by war Europe basically reverts to the stone age.

Oil tankers are too slow and vulnerable as a supply line.

Oil has become a political weapon.
