Question:

Has the world really changed that much? Have cats and dogs become friends? Just like the cat and the mouse?

Have you observed how cats and dogs don't fight anymore and cats don't run after a mouse like in the old days? Has global warming got to do with it? Or, is the bible's prophecy for a peaceful earth where both animals and man live together (co-exist) gradually coming true?

  1. yup,  call it domestication.  everything's domesticated right now.  before they were barbarians but now they are a cultured lot.

  2. Its an irony. Animals (cats and  dog, cats and  mouse) are now at peace with each other, accept each other's fault. Cats no longer  see rats as a delicacy but  playmates;  and dogs have long time accepted that cats are  a KSP (kulang sa pansin) animals, and they must be understood; while  people are still  the same. Fighting and killing each other, all in the name of religion, money, fame  and power.

  3. To be honest, I've never really seen cats and dogs fight with  eachother except for on television cartoons. It's not like you've lived for hundreds of years and can compare how cats and dogs been living together. I always thought the term "fight like cats & dogs" is just a figure of speech and nothing more. So I don't think global warming or prophecies have anything to do with it.

  4. Anabelle, it is sad that you are basing all your "evidence" solely on your religion, yet you pretend to look for real answers here on YA. Let me start by saying that the reason why cats and dogs are "enemies" in the first place is because cats naturally have the instinct to run from predators instead of fight them (and by predators I mean generally bigger and stronger animals, including dogs, foxes and wolves). On the other hand, dogs have the blueprint to chase WHATEVER RUNS away from them, especially smaller animals. You will not see a dog stay put if a duck came walking by.

In the wild, felines are *generally* smaller and weaker than canines. Lions vs Wolf/Cayote/Hyena is almost a draw, but look at majority of other felines, which include bobcats, lynx, the common housecat...they are always SMALLER and WEAKER compared to most canines. The only thing cats chase are mice...otherwise, cats are often the ones who are being chased by most other animals, be it a dog, horse, pig, heck even a wild bunny.

So why is it you see dogs and cats becoming more "friends" these days? This depends on the SPECIFIC circumstances. It is simply becoming more common practice that different domesticated animals are being raised in one house. ie: Dogs and cats being RAISED together since birth or young age will OF COURSE have the *tendency* to develop tolerance for each other in the future.

I do not appreciate you stating completely false ideas and outright lies for the sake of your personal beliefs. People need to know FACTS first, then decide what to believe. I respect your personal beliefs, but not the fact that you lie about science.

If all animals were to co-exist as you put it, this would throw the balance of nature out the window...the balance of nature is the reason why you are even here, realize that. Please open a book. Thanks.

  5. Where I am, cats and dogs still fight, cats still hunt for rats, lol!   It's just that the diversity of human living conditions is at its all time high, probably.

Now if your proposition of a Bible prophecy coming true is indeed correct, that would be wonderful.  But I don't think this man-animal peaceful co-existence would precede Jesus' coming back to us as pictured in the Revelation.  Just my 2 cents' worth.

  6. Domesticated dogs, cats and mice do co-exist if reared in the same house.

This co-existence goes out the window if they are reared seperately.

Far*** I think you may be reading too much into the question.

All stand please I do believe that the lord of the TR**ls has graced us with his presence.

  7. It could be the dawning of the age of Aquarius, when planets align and peace rules the Earth, and all creatures big and small finally live in perfect harmony (Fifth Dimension).
