  2. I haven't seen it, but I would love to see it at Bristol.

  3. that would be sweet

  4. there have been 1 on 1 challenges within a race that i know of, but none were actually accepted. last year and maybe the year before executives at miller lite "challenged" budweiser over who would either win a particular race (the #2 of kurt busch or the #8 of dale jr) or who would end up with the most points at the end of the season. in one of the challenges, the loser would have had to sport the other sponsor's logo during a race. thus, if kurt would have won, dale would have had to run the #8 with a miller lite paint job and vice versa.

a more interesting challenge was made involving the two companies and their respective drivers as well:

"The proposed bet goes like this: whichever brand's sponsored car ends up with the most points at the end of the 2007 NASCAR Nextel Cup season will get the chance to rename the other brand's ballpark for a series between the Milwaukee Brewers and St. Louis Cardinals for the 2008 Major League Baseball season. Based on the annual costs for the naming rights at Miller Park in Milwaukee, that wager is worth around $78,000 for a three game series."

of course, none of those challenges were ever accepted. i believe one of the proposed challenges would have been won by miller lite as kurt finished higher in the points, but the other i believe bud would have won. but they never came to pass. many said it was more of a publicity stunt on miller lite's part and that budweiser didn't want to dignify it. given how the two teams finished last year, it's a good thing they didn't.
