Considering making one just for fun. Has it been done (by an actual marvel writer) before?

If so give me a name or something so I can find it :)

To clarify, I mean Heroes acting like Villains and vice-versa, like spiderman beating up children or w/e

  1. Super man couple of times when he was either possesed by Brainac Kryptonite or something other sometimes in JLA he would also act as enemy in one episode his future self is an enemy something becuse Lex Luthor became president !

  2. Marvel has done this numerous times.  The most famous occurrences where this happens in my opinion would be the creation of the Thunderbolts and Marvel's Civil War.

The original Thunderbolts team consisted of supervillains that decided to pose as superheroes so that they could gain access to the Government's top secret information.  After a short time of playing the hero role, the villains decided to become real superheroes instead.  More recently, a new Thunderbolts roster consisting of different supervillains was put together to track down any superheroes that refused to register with the Superhuman Registration Act.

Half the Marvel Universe's heroes also became "villains" during the Civil War which lead to an all out war between the Proregistration Superheroes and the Antiregistration ones.

There are lots of other examples of just about every hero (at least) appearing to turn bad.  I remember a lot of Silver Age stories liked to have the heroes appear to join their foes in order to figure out their plans and what not.  Probably a dozen or so Avengers were originally cast as supervillains and turned good.  There's just way too many examples to list them all.

  3. how about spiderman turning into venom, or superman being affected by tar ladden kryptonite
