Has there been a photography artist who used lights with water?

Question

as in put a light source inside water that makes the water turn to the coloured source?

or put bottle of water over a light so the bottle and water has shades of colour light?

How about flat doubled pain glass with the colored water in between?Held in front of the light source.The water color can be changed at will.And of course there has too be a space between the two pains,and sealed on three sides..

The artist  Bill Culbert has done some works with this. He is best known as a sculptor but his works often end up as a photograph of the sculpture rather than the object itself.
